I have 3 on the pillar- boost, wideband, egt.
I also have an oil pressure gauge I need to install somewhere. I'll be getting one of these, and I dont want a blank spot. so I need idea's of whats the best gauge to run. obviously needs to be functional

are water or oil temp that necesary?

if you have meth injection do what I did, get a meth pressure gauge to monitor the line pressure. If line pressure ever starts to drop below normal, you'll know your meth pump is starting to go.

If anything you should get rid of the egt guage since you have a wideband and use the oil pressure guage. Personally I don't like having tons of guages on my pillar because it tends to attract alot of rice, "kids in their POS hondas that only have exhaust mods and they think their cars are awsome so they ride your ass and drive stupid. If anything move the WB and egt to the bezel guage pod and get a single pillar pod for your boost guage. Adding more guages isin't going to make your car any cooler.

I don't care about "coolness" I just like to know what's happening to my engine. the car already had an egt and 3 pod pillar. I might replace the egt with oil press and have egt and meth somewhere on the dash. maybe where the air vents. cant really think of a good place on a 2g

I know this isn't exactly what you asked, but for all that money in gauges why not look at DSMlink? Boost, water temp, and battery can all be logged. I have a boost gauge but it's just used to fill the 3rd whole. I've actually been thinking about getting rid of all my gauges except one.

I think the coolant temp is a good idea (I'm going to get one), because my car has had a history of overheating, and I dont want to trust that the stock temp gauge is going to last forever.

But thats just me.

Car already came with it, and i'm using ceddymod.

Eventually I'm building a carputer and I'll have virtual gauges from evoscan where the radio used to be, but that's at least a year down the road.

Honestly I would keep the EGT guage, it can still be a valuable tool when it comes to tuning especially if you go the E-85 route and start cranknig up timing and what not. Currently in my car I have Voltage, Boost, Oil pressure, Coolant Temperature, Wideband, and soon to have EGT. So if anything with your current ones I would get either the coolant temperature or the voltage.

Do you have an auto tranny? If you do get a trans temp gauge.
nope manual

washer fluid level

LOL I dont use windshield wipers or fluid. the lady always yells at me when it's raining, then she tuns them on, then I turn them off, then she yells some more, hits me, and turns them on again. rinse, lather, and repeat until one of us gets tired of fighting, and then I hear "if we crash it's all your fault"

I think you mean closed loop :p
