17x8
offset = 35

The spoke design is a little thin but I like the machined lip. The price is right at $300 shipped. Brand new. :)

i like it except that huge center cap with the brand plastered all over it. looks cheesey. id try to sand off the name or paint it. other than that nice design, should show off our nice small stock rotors :p

Yeah, I don't like that either and will likely sand them and paint. If its just a sticker, then I'll take it off and paint the center cap the same color as the center. Willwood front brakes waiting to be put on, already has early 95 big rear brakes. :) I just hope the front spokes will fit over the Willwoods. If not, its not like I couldn't sell these on Craigslist for what I have in them.

I do like the fact they're NOT a 5x100/5x114.3 wheel with 10 holes!

BTW- These are on Ebay and there's like 4 or 5 sets left.

Thanks for the input guys! Wouldn't mind hearing some more input from others.

$300 shipped on ebay NEW. They have 4-5 sets left. I went ahead and bought a set but now I'm starting to wonder if they will clear my new Willwoods...

They look good, but i rather take your stock 2gb gsx wheels and paint them gunmetal w/ polished lip and call it a day.

I like them:thumb: And as far as the center cap everyone's  about... Who gives a shit if it says the name of the wheel on it. I think they look fine and I would roll those any day! You can't go wrong with a simple 5 spoke rim like that.

They look nice but I'd be caerful with them. My friend had a set of rims from the same manufactuer(Maxxim) and he hit a pothole going the an average speed in town (35-40mph) and it bent to the point where it wouldn't hold air or could be fixed. He had really small tires on them though.

Never cared for the 2gb wheels and I doubt they'll fit over my new front brakes. Hell, I'm not even sure if the ones pictured above will fit!

Thanks! Good to hear.

I can see these being weak with being cast and thin spokes.

Thanks everyone! :)

Hitting a pothole with low pro tires on ANY rim will bend the rim so don't let that worry you.

Those 5 spokes and that color will look awesome with your red eclipse GREAT CHOICE:thumb:..

i think you said you were getting 17's and have big brakes but are worried, well im almost positive that 17's will clear big brake kits -- i read in a turbo magazine that did a special on the 1g's and upgrading brakes, if you upgrade brake kits you usually need a 17 inch rim

let me know if i was wrong though

I would think 17's would be enough, I'm no expert though. Those rims do look pretty sexy.

just following the trend, I like them also, can't go wrong with a clean, simple five spoker. I don't know about weight and rigidity though, might be something to look into if you care about such things...

I got the Maxxim Wonder wheels today. For $300 shipped for the whole set (4 wheels), I'm very impressed with the finish and quality of the wheels. Being a 17" wheel, the spokes don't look as thin compared to the 18" wheel which is the one pictured I think. I weighed the wheels and I was right. 22lbs. Thats only 1lb more than the Evo 8 wheel. I measured the distance they have for larger calipers. From the hub, the Willwood calipers need 1.25" of room to clear the wheels. These have 1.5" so I think they'll be fine with the Willwood brakes.

I'm not just running the DSM big brakes, I'm running Willwood brakes which are similar to the Evo 8 Brembos and have 4 pistons so thats why I was concerned.

Still debating weather to put these on the car or not. I wouldn't mind having a lighter wheel but the cost is going to be $800-$900. I know I could sell the Maxxim wheels for what I have in them. I already have lighter Center Line wheels weighing in at 13.5lbs which I want to keep for dedicated drag wheels with my BFG DR's.

For someone looking for a cheap set of new wheels that still look good, its hard to beat the deal on the Maxxim wheels.
