Need HI SAFC II Help with 16g and 550cc's

Hey guys, bought the car with stock settings on the SAFC II, and would like to adjust the HI for more fuel because it's getting robbed by my evoIII 16g even at 12psi. Any more boost seems get me close to fuel cut. I've got 550cc's, 190lph fuel pump and here's some other performance mods...that probably wont matter much.

Jpipe (unknown aftermarket which I just had drilled for the boost source)

I'm almost 100% new to the safc system. Had it tuned on another car but never had to change anything. Any help is greatly appreciated.
 
Before you start messing with anything get a datalogger, so you can read whats going on inside the engine.

Until that happens, is it possible to get a better ballpark figure for the HI so that 5k on the tach doesnt feel like vtec
 
The reason the logger is a must is so you don't hurt anything. If you don't have one, its blind tuning and very dumb. You can pick one up for 75 bux or less, its well worth it. It'll also help for diagnosing any other problems too, so if you think about it, it pays for itself.

Believe me, I'd like one asap, but until then I need to figure out if these number are out of whack or if I can safely level them to at least get some fuel at 5500 rpms. Not looking to track tune it in the dark at all. And where are you finding logger setups for 75?
 
My bad 2gs loggers are more expensive then 1g loggers. Check the classifieds. Honestly I cant tell you how to tune your car with no information so I'm afraid I can't help you as far is that is concerned. As stated above, use the rre method and do so at your own risk. Good luck.
 
-15 would be a pretty safe place to start...

Are you saying -15% all across the board Hi and Lo? For now I've set at -15 everywhere...and appx 13psi until a logger of sort gets here. Getting a pretty good bog around 2-3k. Oh well, at least I know that the turbo actually works now vs feeling like a dog.

1.Blindly choose settings based on what others say and what "feels" right.
2. logger use fuel trims and knock
3. egt keep your egt's in a safe range
4. wideband 02

Personally I have 2-4.

I ended up buying Evoscan a couple days ago. Just waiting for it to get here.
 
Here's an idea...triple make sure you set your car for 4cyl on the safc and not 6cyl...i'm a tard. Not sure how I overlooked that.
 
It's alright, it happens to the best of us. I had my safc settings at decreasing throttle, tore up the talon again to pull out the ecu thinking I had wired something wrong, and ended up pissed....when all I had to do was press a button! Is the car running better though? And running -15% will put you somewhat around the stock area so it's cool to run that and 13psi.
