Hey all,

I've got an ongoing problem that I have been troubleshooting and haven't come up with any solutions.

I did a boost leak test about a month and a half ago. Using small air compressor, I could get it to hold 1psi, that's it. It seemed like air was leaking everywhere. BUT HERE IS THE KICKER. Ever since then, this high pitched whistling sound happens when the turbo spools to over 5 psi. Now, I know turbos whistle normally, but this is obnoxiously loud and high pitched (not the noise when my car was running great).

So here is what I have done. I have replaced the I/C, no leak there. Replaced UICP and BOV gasket, no leak there. I inspected the lower I/C pipe and it LOOKED ok, but I am not ruling that out. Is my problem here a boost leak or something else. I have a video clip with sound if you need to hear it. The car runs ok, and I know it holds over 1psi because it pulls pretty hard, 80% I would say.

ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED. Thanks everyone.
