need help with installing turbo oil drain kit and oil feed

whats up guys i need help with how to install the oil feed line and oil drain kit i think i have a clue on how to do the job but i just thought ill get some correct info first before i do the installation i would like some info on how to install these lines thanks guys

by the way i have the braided lines 37" line for the oil feed and 17" line for the oil drain thay came with all the gaskets and screws that the kits provide..

also came with all the necessary fitings

start with the oild feed line its the easyest the line is long enough to reach around the transmission side of the motor to your oil pressure scensor, you will need to remove it and use a 3way fitting that looks like an elbow with with a female thread that will except your oil scensor and srew back into the block and also except your oil line. dont use teflon tape to seal the threads use a non hardening epoxi thread sealent. you must also use a flow resctictor where the oil line screws into the turbo, if you dont you wont have enough oil preasure.

now for the oil return. jack the car up remove your down pipe and cross member and remove your oil pan. YOU MUST REMOVE YOUR OIL PAN. find a nice flat spot on the pan the is up close to the flang so it will remain out of the oil level line in the pan. drill your holes in the pan the easiest way to do this so you wont mess it up it to take the outer part of the fiting and make the mounting holes first drill one hole and mount the fitting then take a center punch and mark the other mounting hole dead center through the hole in the fitting then mount it. the dead center the drain hole and remove the fitting start by drilling a small hole for the drain and use a stepper bit to increase the size of the hole tell its the same the diamitor of the fiting then clean everything to remove all the metal fragments then use hi temp non hardening sealant and you should be good, be thorough as you DO NOT want any oil leaks

ok sounds good bro thanks for the help i appreciate it just wondering about the oil feed tho...were will i find the 3way fitting and an a flow resctictor??? for the oil presure

I search around and found these, DIY Oil Restrictor and Oil Restrictor
for the 3-way you can go to home depot, lowes, or any hard ware store. or if you are wanting a AN fitting then try summit racing, jegs,ect

The fittings will be in the plumbing section. Truth be told, DO NOT buy a restriction unless you have measured you oil pressure AT the turbo to see if it's higher than the maximum oil pressure at your highest RPM. You will kill your turbo if you restrict your oil to a too low of a pressure.

yea make sure to check that oil pressure..................... on my old 420a i killed my turbo from too high pressure.

you can and should add an oil preassure gage so you can get a vissual on what your oil preasure is doing put the sending unit somewhere inline with the oil feed line and the fitting comeing out of the block and the sending unit for your oil light , find out what the oil preasure and flow rates are required for your turbo get an oil preasure testing gage and srew it into the end of your oil feed line to know how much preasre you are getting at the end of the feed line. to check the flow rate, time how long it takes to fill a 2 cup measuering cup with oil at idle then do the math that will tell you your flow rate of oil, have a freind help you by starting your car and turning it off so you can do the test make sure your oil is good and full. it should take but a few seconds to get to cups of oil

98 eclipse gst geddy turbo all installed oil line leaks they gave me the wrong fitting!! anyone know the proper thread or even a link where i can find the proper fitting?!??
