bought my car back from someone just did a head job on it and got home and it started running hot a smoaking a little bit anitfrezze into exhaust found out one of the arps was stripped and not torqued at all ### help on what to do

Well they dont sell arps singles, since it stripped i would pull the head and visually see what is going on, i wouldnt chance it again, but its your engine, stripped it could be stripped inside the block not good.

Ouch if it has to drilled out be careful it may not be easy, or could do more damage, you could find another block, there out there and cheap look on the forums all you need is the block not everything. I rebuilt mine it just takes time some options you have.

well the block isnt stripped i stuck a randome bolt in it just to see it would thread it does could i just put a stock stud in it for now? this is my daily and dont have anything else to drive

It might hold but youve go a leak right head gasket smoking is probably due to a blown hg, its only going to gget worse, your dd may not be a dd much longer burning coolant. Ive been there, too cold to be stuck somewhere. Get the bolt out then fix the head gasket, pull the head and see whats going onl, thats the only way you will know, we can only assume what the problem is.

yea thats true man i got the stud out yesterday its stripped about 1/2 in up guess i should just take the head off and check it out sucks cause it ran so good for like a hour then it went south which blows cause everthing is new

If you didn't torque your head down it could be warped if you were burning some antifreeze. Id check the flatness when you pull the head, id also buy some new head studs.

I hope that it works out for ya and there is no major damage that resulted, but if you caught it early enough which it siunds like you did then h.g and new studs like the others said.
