Need help with factory wire harness.

Picked up a 2ga that has had the motor rebuilt but the install was never completed.
I'm just wondering if I can get some suggestions on where a few of these plug go. It's a 1995 TSi AWD/Automatic. 2 of them come out of the harness with the injector wiring, 2 come out of the main harness on the passenger side. Also, does not crank at all with key, but cranks over when i jump the starter...? needing help BIG time. I wasn't involved with any work on this car prior to picking it up, this makes tracking some of this stuff down a bit difficult.

3 pic - left = knock sensor
right = coolant temp sensor
4 pic - starter connector

pics are too fuzzy to determine exactly what they are
hopefully im not too far off
also what color are the wires

All that seems to be spot on with maybe the exception of the coil pack. There is one coming out of the injector harness near injector #2 that is currently plugged in there unless I am missing a second coilpack plug location...? Also the starter wire, is there a pigtail for the signal wire near the battery tray?

That should help identify any connectors. If you have abs, the connectors/locations may be different.

it could also be the crank sensor

Also the starter wire, is there a pigtail for the signal wire near the battery tray?

the female starter plug is attached to the battery harness
