Need help replacing CAS

Anyone in SD area that could help me out I would really appreciate it. I have been trying to replace the sensor and a friend of mine was helping me out but he recently deployed to Iraq, I have no idea how to replace it and I am trying to find someone that can help me out. If anyone has time please let me know. The car is a 95 talon tsi awd and it's been in the garage for about 2 months already, any help that can be provided or if you know someone that can just fix it and charge me for it that'll be fine.

okay, first off which CAS is it. there are 2 kinds for the 2g. is it the one underneath the cam or is it the one that has its own housing on the plugstat side opposite of the camgears!??

I recommend just replacing it with a 1G CAS as its much easier to do than replacing a 2G one. The majority of the work will just be a few wiring changes. As a bonus, you get to adjust your base timing as well.

It's a 95... the CAS is stuffed behind the cam gears. Only reason it's a pain to swap out, unlike the 1G or 2Gbs on the passenger side of the intake cam. Probably could swap it for a 1G hall effect CAS, with a little bit of creative harness-hackery. Just leave the dead husk in there as a spacer.
