need help on porting my turbo o2 and manifold

Im going to purchase the MHI Evo 3 turbo with FP manifold and the evo 3 o2 and i wanted to have them all ported. Im wondering if i should order the port option which is $100 each or if anyone knows a shop that does good porting in the NYC area. can anyone help?

For under $100 you can buy a decent die grinder and do it yourself. Just go to vfaq or search porting, its not too hard. It'll save you a lot of money.

The Fp manifold is pretty damn good as is, just be sure to get the 7cm one for 16g!
You may benefit from some turbine housing inlet porting as well as some work in the wastegate area. An evo3 turbine housing will bell out to about 2.5"- a small or big will be 2" at the outlet
The evo o2 housing is already 2.5", so very little if any porting is needed. Smoothing out the rough casting may give some slight improvent, too.

If you decide to do it yourself, here's a set that several people recommended to me. I just bought them two days ago. I can let you know how they work. I'll be porting my manifold and turbo. $35 for 8 burrs is a deal to me.
