Need Help [misfire]

ok my car started to run like it was misfiring and i started checking things out and found that my plugs were burned up and one of my plug wires were bad and that my iginition coil was burned up also so i changed every thing out and now my car idles at 100rpms and barely wil stay running. how do i adjust my timing?(if that is my problem) i have a 1g

Thank you help me out alot once i get it timed right.

ok it wasnt my timing. i drove the car last night and it wouldnt get above 3k rpms and all of a sudden it started to run on the right rpms and i could rev past 3k. ok now the first problem i had is back. ok it all started when i was running a gt and when i shifted to fourth i felt a loss of power, and i pulled over and heard a noise like somthing in my head broke and it was bouncing around, and the car runs real bad and as i get up to speed my car is so jerky that its about unbarable. so i take the valve cover off and found nothing wrong nothing broke or lose, and i dont know what to check if anyone has suggestions please help.

also when im rolling to a stop in neutral my car sometimes cuts off.

I know this sounds like a stupid question, put did you put the right wires on the correct corresponding coil packs and route them to the correct plugs? Doing something like this can certainly cause misfires that will make the car act like it's going to fall on it's face.

Pull the plugs again and see if any of them have raw fuel on them or are blackened already. If so, this could be part of your problem.

yes all my wires are right i checked them 3 timesto make sure where they go and if i have them on right. the problem started before i changed anything.

also i looked at my boost gauge while the car was idling and it reads 10vac.

In that case you have a very big problem. Time for compression and leak down tests. Something is broken or timing jumped.

ok after some more searching i found this link that is for a leak down test. ans also it has a link on there for compression test. so i will try and get those test done this week or weekend. if i can find the right parts.

no i just did that so i wouldnt have to type it all over again. all it was was me being lazy. and to let him know what my problems are that i am having.
