Went to the track Last Sunday and only able to get a 1.89 60 ft. I'm pretty sure this car should be able to do 1.6's at least? I did not get the 1-2 shift off quick enough and hit the limiter both passes but I think the 60 ft is before first gear runs out? Any way, here are some vids for you guys to critique Thanks in advance!

What are you launching at? And I would try preloading the drivetrain with the e-brake like TalonDave does.

Best advice I've had is don't be a ####y and really push it.

2 step is set @ 5900 I am preloading with the ebrake

Does the car Bog when launching? Also what suspension setup do you have?

*EDIT* after seeing and hearing the second clip, it seems that either you're not releasing the clutch in time or the clutch initially slips before fully engaging.

Spins the street tires pretty good. They have 51 psi in them. Stock suspension

Lower tire pressure enough so you don't spin so much, like <25psi, and then suspension might be next to do; she's pretty bouncy.

I know lowering the pressure on slicks works, but street tires?

Ya bro lower the tire pressure abit 50 is way to high. I can pull 1.8 60' in my gvr4 all day long and this is on super hard dry rotted tires launching around 6k basically stock car and ran 13.5@101. I would lower to 32-35 range and see if that helps, just make sure you preload good or you could snap an axle.

The Evo I replied to you about on gvr4.org we put the 17" street tires at 18psi in the front and 13psi in the rear. It was literally skating all over the place at 40psi like he rolls around on the street with.

+1 to tire pressure being too high. For the strip I use the stock 16's with Michelin all-season tires aired down to 15-20psi max. Your launch control might be a bit too high as well, but try airing down the tires first.

6 puck. Car lauches great on the street

No one thinks the 1-2 shift is killing it? I'd work on that.

I think it is a combination of all things above.

1. 51PSI is probably higher than the maximum rated tire pressure, get that down to 30-32 on the street, and about 20-25 on the track.
2. Little quicker on the clutch release.
3. work on that 1-2 upshift.

1.65's all day.

Just looked at link and the launch control was set to turn off at 8mph. I set it to 4mph and now it just blows the tires off LOL here is a log got the shift off perfect.
