So i just revved to like 3k and dumped the clutch for the burnout since i really didnt want to go threw the box since i only have one wheel peel...but i had to...so i get up to the staging blah blah im all set...i react pretty well and i was at about 3k and slipped the clutch and let the car hook up but only went like half throttle to 6k then shifted to second and didnt really have any problems from there...I know the 60ft time is aweful but it was my first time...i wanted to practice more but there were so many people and i didnt feel like waiting for 2 hours just to run one more time...any advice would be great

thanks:dsm:

I'm a beginner at the race seen too I ran a 14.33 best @97mph (missed 4th) also ran a 14.47 @ 102mph. The best advise I can give you is, find a smaller track, I got to run my car at least 15 times and them let my freinds run it too. The car was heat soaked after the 3rd or 4th race and the rest of the night it ran 15's. The best part was when the 06 Mustang gt ask what I had done to beat him, and the 9 sec. crotch rockett told me I would run 13's after I learned how to drive. I realy suck launching this fwd also
If anyone has some "magic advise" It would be great,
there is a pic of my launch here it's blury but.......
