Need help installing exhaust manifold

I just bought a GT DSM EVO III manifold, and the outlet which meets up to my turbo is larger than the opening on my stock turbo ( 14b?) and also what should i do about the ring that goes from the stock manifold to the turbo? is that now obsolete? thanks in advance.

Port the turbo to match.

The ring isn't necessary anymore.

dont mean to be a smart ass, but what would be your suggestion on how to do that? i dont want to ruin my turbo trying to do this. thanks again.

There are countless webpages showing how to port, and what to port with. It's pretty straightforward and universal from application to application:

You are obviously only looking at the turbo inlet side, but the article is pretty thorough, and since you're going to have it apart, might as well go to town.
