Resolved need help identifying connectors

Couldn't have waited until I finished my configuration diagram article for the '90 turbo engine control harness, could you? ;)

All things considered, it looks pretty unscathed to me.

1 - Shows the "Control Wiring Harness and Solenoid Wiring Harness Combination", a ground, and the Brake Fluid Level Sensor connector

2&3 - One is for the TPS (all wires have the base color of green) and the other is for the CAS (white, black, black, and red wires); if I'm looking at it correctly, #2 is for the CAS and #3 is for the TPS.

4 - Injector Resistor Pack; the one you have the resistor pack hooked up to is actually for the Idle Speed Control Actuator.

5 - Wiper Motor

6 - Cruise Control Vacuum Pump; the one you have labeled "to (cruise) control" is actually the connector for the noise filter the '90 models use for the tachometer

7 - A/C Dual Pressure Switch

8&9 - Both are "Control Wiring Harness and Engine Compartment Wiring Harness Combinations"; they connect to the harness under the fuse box

10 - "Control Wiring Harness and Battery Cable Assembly Harness Combination"... or at least the one a little up the wire is. I deduce that what is connected there is part of the battery harness. :)

Thanks you are the man once again, I am going to laugh myself silly then kick my ass if the whole reason i just rebuilt the engine and went all into a high hp build was because the previous owner plugged the injector resistor pack into the harness in the wrong spot.

very good info.

Can I pm you with some other connectors im unsure about including pics and wire colors?

do you have a pic of the noise filter for the tach that the connect goes to? I thought the noise filter was mounted with the tach gate on the coil pack
Sure, PM away. I'll be able to get the article up when I have a more stable internet connection for everyone else.

Here's a pic of the noise filter: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/37213-rpm-gauge.html#post325537.

could this also be the plug that goes to the tranny
On the connector slightly farther down the line, there are four wires. The two black w/ yellow wires are involved in the starting circuit and run to the starter motor/solenoid. The red and red w/ blue wire are for the reverse lights sensor. So yes, it could be. :thumb:
