Need help for FP3065

Im going to purchase the FP3065, I have the 7bolt motor.. How would you guys suggest going about building the 7bolt motor with this turbo? Headwork only? :dsm:
 
you totally don't deserve to ask that kind of question.

No really though. 400whp on stock internals is about all you want to push it. That turbo has made 550 to the wheels
 
Either update your profile...or learn a few things. You will not be running that turbo without fuel mods...and to take full advantage of it, a built bottom end.

:dsm: ......yo man..don't listen to all of these guys....u gotta think... that turbo is good way past ur "dream" hp by far...its rated to 650hp and can prob go more....due to the fact that the supposed evo3 16g was only good to they said 340hp or something but made 400.7whp by sbr......anywayz....yes a built bottom end would def def help....and be better in the long run....but i read in the post bout scm61 (which is what i have :p) some guy made 551whp on a stock 7 bolt from teamnbr or something....and nate made 513whp on many stock parts as well....go figure.... :dsm: (go until it breaks) don't fix something thats not broken.. :laugh:
 
eclipseturbo7, I have the FP3065 on a bone stock 7-bolt with cams. You don't need to build your engine.. What you need to look into is fuel control and timing control.. You really will not see lots of power out of the turbo at lower boost. And if you're running lots of boost you can't be running lots of timing, (as low as 4 degrees on pump). It's very important to have control of your timing if you are try to run lots of boost, plus you need to have fuel to back up that turbo. Having a walbro 255 HP will not even be enough past 30 psi and injectors. There is a lot to consider when buying a turbo this big.

hey goslowtsi....take ur 50 trim and throw it off a cliff along with urself....who r u to be ripping on my spelling..theres nothing wrong with it...its jus i use the (.....) alot because it seprates diff ideas from one another......so jus stick to the post and shut up... :rolleyes:
