Ok I have a 92 talon tsi awd atuo and my timing belt just broke on my car and i was wondering if a 92 eclipse n/t motor would be the same and just swap motors.

No not even close. The n/t motor is the 420a or at least it is in the second gen. Just do it right and pull the head, check the pistons for damage and if there is nonre have the head rebuilt and next time do your preventative maintenance.

Or take this as an opportunity to build the motor while you have it apart.

first off the 90-94 have the same motor. The nonturbo 4g63 has different rods and pistons from the 4g63T motor. They both use the 4G63 motor code just the internals are different. The head will work just take your cams off the turbo head and put them on the n/t head.
Your in good shape to fix the motor..Hope u have luck

Make sure the n/t motor is indeed the 2.0L 4G63 and not the 1.8L SOHC 4G37. The heads are interchangeable, however there are differences in the blocks. The turbo has 7.8:1 compression ratios, and the non-turbo has 9:1; the turbo model has oil squirters to help cool the pistons due to the excess heat, the n/t does not. The pistons, rods are different, as the turbo model's are a higher grade than the n/t due to the excess load. Any more info you should check out VFAQ
