Hey guys, I've got a 1990 galant gsx. It has the 4g63 n/t motor.

My problem is that my car has a bad stumble, like a miss. It only does it once the engine comes up to operating temp. It has a hard time holding an idle and when you're cruising, it bogs real bad, bad enough to jerk the car. It only seems to do it in the lower rpms though. It is irregular and I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure out what it is.

I'm getting fuel and all my plugs are getting spark and none have any discolorations. I'm thinking that maybe it's a sensor. I checked the o2 sensor with the ohms meter and it's resistance was outa spec so I replaced it, thinking it would help, but nothing.

Any ideas? This is frustrating the crap outa me! Thanks guys.

Hows your ECU doing? Has it been fixed or replaced that you know of? The mass airflow meter would be next to check, then onto the ignition system. Plug wires been changed latley? If you check the ECU error codes it will tell you if there's a ignition system problem, it just won't tell you exactly which component it is. It coud be the wires, coilpack, or igniter.
