I've been doing alot of searching and still can't decide on what to go with. The wheels i'm looking at are 17x8 with a 40mm offset. The tires i'm looking at are the BFGoodrich G-force Sports. I've come to the conclusion that either a 235/45 or 245/40 will work. I'm also probably going to go autocrossing at some point and do occassional drags. My car is currently on the stock suspension and is my daily driver, but I will be getting coilovers in a couple of months. Which size would be the better one to go with?

I guess you haven't stumbled accross any of jtmcinder's recommendations. He doesn't mind repeating himself but to save him the trouble, go with the 245/40/17's.

I have, a few times actually and I just about went and clicked the buy button but then I keep debating afterwards for some reason. If thats the best combo, then I will go for it, I was just worried that that will be too "autocross" but not good enough for daily driving.
