I am looking at a set of yokohama Avid S/Ts and I saw that they dont have the exact size as my stock tires. My questions is, will the following sizes fit on my stock wheels:

Stock: 195/70-14

Available sizes: 215/60-14
215/70-14

I know that since the 215 isnt that much bigger than the 195, it shouldnt mess up my speedo to much. And the 14 is the size of the wheel. I just dont know what the difference of the 60 and the 70 is.

195 refers to the width of the tire
70 refers to the height in proportion to the width
Tire rack already has a decent description on this that I don't care to type out so go here: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/general/size.jsp

as for if you can suqeeze 215s on stock rims, I have no idea. but you're looking at a difference of 20 millimeters (2 centimeters), kind of an extreme difference I would tend to think they wouldn't fit.
