Need help before I go spend money

Here is what I am doing..I have a 7 bolt rebuilt 20 over,new ported and polished head, titanium valves and springs and 1g tb ,thats my base and I want my fwd automatic to run under 13s. Now I'm building the block up so I don't have to do it later if I want more hp. So I kind of need to know what else Ill need(besides suspension mods, lsd and slicks I already no that). I was thinking 20g I don't know what size injectors, 255 fuel pump,shift kit,headers,full 3"exhaust. I'm going with bov to atmosphere. Thats all I can think of and I want to start buying things but I don't want to buy things twice. I checked out what I would need in the tech part but didn't give me an exact product.(ex. size turbo or injectors)

Ok you sayd you have a rebuilt 7 bolt .20over and a ported head titanium valves and springs??
is it new valves and springs whit titanium retainers?
but anyways all you need is an evo316g turbo 650 fuel injectors 190walbro fuel pump and supporting mods you should be close to your goal whit a good tune..
 
Really thats good news im not sure on the springs and the valves just yet because im going to pick up the motor this week and he said thats theres a titanium valve train. Now im still learning all of this and im spending hours a night reading on all of this but this guy is selling me a 7bolt 2g motor with all the stuff done to it I mentioned plus he throwing in a front mount prothane mounts intake and throttle body for $400 the only thing wrong with it it cyl 1 needs redone.
 
Are you buying from somebody local? That sounds like one hell of a deal. You know the saying 'If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.' Also don't forget a MLS headgasket and ARP headstuds, and you need at least a 1g bov.

In order to vent proper you will need a GM MAF with a translator and different intake pipe and appropriate intercooler piping. If you go with a 255 pump you will also need to buy and AFPR.
 
Yea with a few hours of bargaining I got the price down from just motor for 700 for all that for 400 hahaha I love it..LOL..Yea its local like 2 hours away and im going to go pick it up next friday. Yea im going to buy the translater and maf kit from a member on here..Im gonna go greddy or hks bov. Would a safc be fine for tuning or should i go dsmlink?
 
I would recommend a 50 trim regardless... or a 20g, but i'm a fan of the t3 flange so upgrades can be made easier in the future. Also, 650cc injectors at a minimunm and screw the safc... it works with that injector, hell I had 680cc injectors but your timing is so effed... I would recommend dsmlink or else get one of the old school apexi ignition controllers. Also a walbro 255 and fuel pressure regulator would cover the fuel mods and that should be enough to put you below a 12.5 if you can drive and have decent traction
 
You trust someone elses "rebuild"?

Reason I say that, I picked up a 6 bolt that was "rebuilt". Im very proud with my decision to build a stroker out of it. I found a cracked front case, a stripped plug in the head, not even ridge reamed cylinders.

Ok, and back on your original question, dont overthink it and get what you need for your goals. You will be buying things again. Ask me how I know.

Now for parts i would get pte 880's, with the gt35r and dsmlink with a maf-t and a 1g bov, big fmic at least 7" tall with a 3" core bar and plate, act2900 with a reputable tranny rebuild. Otherwise be prepared to be buying again.
 
Yea the way I look at it even if it does need redone im still getting a deal. Plus theres a shop in my area im taking it to right away to have him look it over and fix anything that needs to be fixed.

Whats the price on a gt35r and were can I get at a good price?
 
Wow its def a nice turbo im going to have to start saving. I want that!!! It was for 1200
 
Well I know when im running under a 13 Ill want more but what I think I should do and what i think im going to do is buy a cheap ported evo 3 16g for 400 so I can concentrate on everything else from tranny to suspension to exhaust intercooler because i can always swap out injectors and turbo later. Now can I buy 880s for a 16g with afpr and dsmlink can still control fuel so i dont have to buy different injectors later?
 
If you are going to be running more than or around 16psi, I think you will have enough air flow to compensate for the amount of fuel your dumping. With dsmlink you will be able to bring your duty cycle down to a minimum, and probably be able to run 880's. I would like a second opinion from a wiseman though.
 
Ok...Even if I cant I will just buy 680s and 880s.
