2G GS with fu**ed tranny. Transmision has a BIG hole of 6 cm wide where it looses loads of tranny fluid.

No replacement avaible here from junkyards as "US Specs Eclipse" .
Block on my car is 420A. What can I use to replace that broken tranny that I have?
New tranny from dealer costs more than $3.000 wich I am not willing to pay.

Other brand/model ?

I dont know how mechanicly inclined you are but i have a broken 420A tranny out of a 96 RS. First and second gear dont work because i believe the shift fork is broken. It can be fixed though. If you dont find anything else maybe we can work something out. Just let me know.

Car is running back once more!

hited 133mph yesterday on a industrial zone. :) Now, it's time to get some plates for it

I called every single junkyard where an "eclipse" was anounced....
made 40 calls..... until I found a GS PURE AMERICAN!!! :D
Vin was starting by 4A :D
Made a little travel..... Bought it...
Made another travel back to the car... :p
Car fixed!

Total traveled distance: 2050KM :)

Car runs again! still without ABS.... but... who needs an abs? LOL

I did not repplied about fixing the tranny because half of the shell was destroyed, and also primary shaft.
