hey i just bought a 97 gst 5-speed and i want to build my car the right way. i was looking into being around 250-300hp what should i look into first

I have a 97 GST and I started on big on suspension and brake kit before power. It was my preference to control the power. Then I started with the turbo timer, intake and exhaust. The most HP came from exhaust and the best upgrade (needed) was the brakes because the 2 piston brakes are garbage
