Hi I just installed a 255 fuel pump on my 90 TSI AWD, and I searched through and recognized I will need a fuel pressure regulator. My question is what brand should I be looking to purchase? I noticed the aeromotive brand was pretty expensive and it seemed I didn't need something of that caliber.

Anyone have any cheaper recommendations on what kind to purchase and where online?

The reason most get the aeromotive is becuse its proven to raise the fuel pressure 1:1 with boost pressure. Which is exactly what the fpr needs to do. For me Aeromotive all the way. Check out import evolution i believe that they sell a bolt on fpr that is supposed to be fairly cheap yet decent quality. Heres a link to the bolt on unit. Hope this helps some. http://www.importevolution.com/product_info.php?cPath=24_45&products_id=1434

100% Aeromotive :thumb:

The FPR is something you need to rely on and a good trusted name and proven performance is a must. Dont buy imitation crap like whats on ebay. And get a gauge with it!!!

I am also going to go with Aeromotive AFPR. I have it on my car, and recommend it 100%. I got it from Import Evolution. If you order from them, get it with the SS line. These is a type of mod you don't want to go cheap on you, VERY IMPORTANT!!

Import Evolution's SS line kit w/ a gauge. :thumb: :thumb: Easy installation, works great, looks amazing umder the hood. :thumb: :thumb:

I never tried the direct bolt-on ones, FTS AFPR; but I have read good things about them. Just don't go cheap with this mod, you will regret it later when you have to buy another one later on.

Stay boostin
