Ok i am in need of a good Sponsor, I have yet been lucky enough to see sponsors at the car shows I go to, does anyone have any suggestions for me on where i would be able to get a sponsor? I dont want anything like carsponsorships.com i want an actual company or multiple companies. Thank you for reading my post and hopefully get some good info from the ones that already have been lucky enough to get a sponsor.

ive never got into sponsorships and stuff like that, but i have suggestions. Call independent companies, and ask if they would be interested in sponsoring you. i know one guy that did the same and i guess now he gets money or whatever from tien when he goes to shows and sends them pics of the show to prove he had like tien stickers and handed out stuff.

why do you want to be sponsered? personally i love the fact that i built my car and maintain my car and i did it all without hand outs.

now if you were racing and rebuilt your motor every week i could understand but i assume thats not what your doing

also is your car a show car, rally, open road, autox, drag. what do you use your car for? there is different sponsors for different things.

I'm with black_gst on this...there's nothing like the satisfaction of building your own car. I mean the deep pockets of a sponsor would be sweet but when you drive a car that you know inside-and-out bcuz you built it yourself...that would put a smile on your face every time you turn the engine on :D

Best of luck on finding sponsors though :thumb:

My car is a show car along with racing. Its not strictly racing n i don't all the time so i wont need engine rebuild all the time. I basically want a sponsor to help with new things i wanna do to it also to help me with some extra money. My car already has 36k put into it but there is so much more i can do and with a sponsorship i can do it without the wait. Bc i don't have the money right now n i don't want my baby suffering not getting the parts that she needs to fully open up. I will check local businesses though. I tried with monster energy drinks but they don't do the car show scene just strictly hardcore racing. Thank you everyone for giving ideas

I would definitely go with local businesses first. Some usually try and find a different way to promote their businesses to different prospects. Soon as i get mine to where i feel is right,im going to work something out with the owners of where i work, Have a big decal that says "the busted nut". But yes,go to banks, independent, garages, shops. Your car looks nice man,so it shouldnt be too hard to get something rolling. Got to start small to make it big.Good luck:hellyeah:

This is the wrong way to go about getting a sponsor. You need to show a company what you can bring to the table. If you have a show car, you need to have a winning history with the car in certain classes/fields. If you have a race car, you need to have a good amount of podium finishes. You want to show the company you have a record of finishing at the top, which will get their brand noticed. Then when you continue to finish near the top, people will associate their brand with this and buy their stuff.

You want to make it about the company, not about you needing money. Yes, it's sad that you have to "pay to play" from the beginning, but that's how it works. Most companies want to help someone who will help them, not someone looking for any free hand outs they can get.

I would ask around at places that you have good friends or relatives working for higher up. I think that's about the only way you're going to get freebies is if you have connections in high places. Other than that you will either have to suck it up and take the carsponsorships.com route or do it the old fashioned way and save your money and buy parts when able.

Im not looking for free hand outs completely im looking for someone that will do me the favor in return of helping them out. I plan on advertising them in every event i attend to, i could even have hand outs of things, anything the company can give away for business. i also will be sponsering them off the track and off the car show lot, to promote them more. If they wanted to have a event at there business i would also bring my car outside of there business to get people to come. I would be willing to help them out as much as possible for any kind of handouts so i wouldnt say completely im looking for free handouts or freebies because im willing to support them as much as they wanna support me.:hellyeah:
