2GNT is a great place as 4UH8ERS said. I would also try checking out eBay for auctions with used ones or new. I've never seen an SFMU with all springs and discs for under $200 so that is how much it will at least cost.

Ok sweet...am i going to be able to run a 12:1 ratio on the SFMU? stock injectors and only aiming for 6psi

If your going to keep the stock injectors, why don't you just go with an FMU with a ratio of 12:1? Only reason I would go with an SFMU is if I was going to run bigger injectors. An FMU will be a lot cheaper than an SFMU also, I bought mine for about $40 from a local guy.

+1, save the smfu idea for if/when you plan to build your motor and want to go up in airflow levels for the turbo (aka boost). the 12:1 FMU is good for up to 9psi (on most turbos)

alright thats something i've been wanting to hear....i heard the FMU makes the car run crappy compared to the SFMU is that all true???

They do the same thing, except with the SFMU, you can change the ratios (12:1, 10:1, etc) for use with different injector sizes.

Also are is their any benifit running an SAFC NEO along with a FMU or SFMU?

The only benifits you'll see is if your on the dyno and you've added enough fuel with the Sfmu/FMU, and you want to lean it out a little more for more power......

For the price of the SAFC (especially the neo) you might consider selling it and taking that money and buying something else that is going to yeild better driveability.


As somone who has used both the SAFC2 and Emange, I would suggest as little hacking into the ECU as possible unless your running megasquirt which can do a lot of different things.
