need 2 get a tranny beefed up

i have a 91awd and want a tranny that is hard 2 break im not new 2 dsm's but just recently got acsess 2 acomputer. I'm in the process of building the entire bottom end then go 2 the head im aiming 4 at least 500+awp. thanks

shep and tre are said to have good trannies,... and shep's is what he uses on his 8.13 second talon... so my guess is its a solid transmission... but i wouldnt suggest power shifting or all around just beating the thing hard,... cuz that will screw up any dsm transmission... thats one thing these cars are known for... delicate transmissions....

I perfer shep though. Really nice guy and knows his sh*t... We are his direct source and like he said he runs 8s... actually he is wrong with those trannies he runs 7s 7.9.

I had sheperd rebuild my tranny and i love it. He was an excellent person to deal with. I have other friends that have are pleased and have very helpful results.
