I put a Walbro 190 Fuel pump in my 95 Talon TSI. I'm still using the stock injectors and stock FPR. Would putting in the 190 pump some how over run my stock fuel setup and cause me to burn more gas; thus creating me to get bad gas mileage?

Couple reasons I think its fuel related: 1) ruled out/fixed and retested all ignition/spark issues. 2) could manipulate it to start though not always running great until parked it on an uphill incline (have not tested this theory as temp tags are expired and if it still doesnt start I'm stuck on the street with no way of getting it back into the driveway). 3) fpr was tested and bad. 4) the more I ran it when it would start and now the more I crank it, the more I just smell fuel. 5) when checking the fuel system, I performed the fuel pressure relief procedure and she turned over! Sputtered out and died like should, but turned over for about 2 seconds for the first time in almost 6 months.

jed344 that's kind of where my thinking was with all the debating I've read on whether it overruns or not or will after time, which is what's throwing me for a loop because it turned over when I relieved pressure from the fuel system. The more answers I get the more baffled I am.

For the record, I am ordering an AFPR so as to at least have better answers if not a fix.
