my viper doesnt work!! 791

hey i just got my viper 791 installed and it works, but the shock sensor/warn away feature doesn't set the car off or doesn't show up on my remote as being triggered. so basically if a car runs into mine, a person takes a hammer to my fender etc... it wont set the alarm off, but an opened door/hood will. any ideas why? when i tap the sensor, the little red light comes on saying that it recognizes its being hit, but it doesnt send the signal to the remote. pleaseeeee help!!!

Did you have the system profesionally installed? If so, take it back, shove it in their faces and tell them to fix it. It shouldn't be something that you have to figure out if you didn't install it. On the other hand, if you did install it, I really have no idea.

yupp it was pro installed and yupp im talkin it back. if it was a easy fix then i just wanted to do it myself. any other ideas what the prob could be?

You already got rapped on the install labor, it doesn't work, NOW you want to fix it yourself?

Check the sensitivity on the shock sensor. At least tap it to make sure the red LED activates.
