Ok, first of all, so I dont get the usual, I did use a search, and I couldnt find the answer I was looking for, or I just didnt have the right combo of words, but Ive tried a couple of times, I was going to use this link Eclipse4X4 gave on this thread:

But it comes back no matches, anyway, my tranny is soon to give out on me, and I just need to know how to spend my money, I am planning on sending my tranny to Shep, and have him do a stage 1 rebuild, or just buy a new stocker. But, my question is, would I be better off to have it rebuilt?? But they dont replace everything, so how long would the parts that they dont replace last compared to a new trannys parts?? I never get the time to call Shep and ask the guys there, because I work, so Im hoping you guys could help me decide, thanks.

Call up shep if your pondering spending the money w/ him. He builds great trannys and I think a stage 1 is something like $850. Not bad at all.

Right, Im just confused as to what they actually do as far as a rebuild, I work 8 to 6, and cant call during work, no cell phones allowed, I guess Ill wait till Saturday to call them...........aww, I forgot I work Saturdays too, I hope they're open Sundays. I know that their trannys are amazing, but Im just concerned as to the condition of my parts that they DONT replace, and how long they'd last, you know?? I just dont wanna have a tranny that has half or more nice cool new parts, and older beaten on parts put into one, then have those beaten parts break on me, making me get another tranny. Thats what Im worried about, but if no one knows the answers Im looking for, Ill just wait till I talk to someone at Shep's shop.
