i bought this 95 gst recently, i only drove it couple time, maybe 50miles total. i just saw wiggled the tranny mount. there were missing bolts and wasn't bolted on at all. how many bolts is there connected to the tranny?

i want to ask if there 1 or 2 mounts? what kind of damages do i expect from this?

the previous owner probably change the clutch and forgot to bolt on the mounts.

no wonder my car vibrates so bad,

As you can see there are 4 vertical studs that go into the upper passenger side tranny mount (mount not shown). The mount then has a horizontal bolt that holds it to the body mount. This and the drivers side engine mount support the entire weight of the engine/tranny. There are also 2 more anti-roll mounts on the tranny - one on lower front and one on lower rear. If your lucky the anti-roll mounts may have supported enough weight so nothing was damaged (like a bent input shaft, etc). You won't know until you properly bolt up the tranny mount.

the mount that is not mounted is the one on the speed sensor. will there be any problems that can be caused from this? i don't know how long the mount was off. will it stress the other mount and break it?

You mean this one. Note 1 mounting bolt is larger diameter than the other 2. The speed sensor actually goes inside of this - it doesn't connect. I doubt any damage was done, you should be ok. Unbolt the lower front mount before installing this one to get things to line up. You may have to lift the tranny slightly with a block of wood on a jack under the oil pan to help jocky things around.

Unbolt the front lower mount 1st, then bolt the rear body mount for this rear tranny mount if not already there, then the rear tranny mount (roll stopper bracket), then the horizontal bolt that ties the 2 together (this is where you may need to lift tranny slightly and jocky things around), then rebolt front lower mount (may have to jocky again).

Apologies if I'm thread jacking but, I was going to start a thread anyway, and its closely related. I have looked in OEM parts catalogs but cannot find it. I need the plate with the studs that sits on the top of the transmission along with all associated hardware. If anyone knows part numbers that would be fantastic.

PM me if you need one.

Started doing some digging through my CAPS program and finally found it. The part number mentioned earlier was correct for the bracket.

MD744671 bracket
MF241309 bolt + washer (need 2)
MD751929 stud
MD744661 stud

That should be all the parts to replace the mounting point to the transaxle, minus the mount itself.
