Like I said, I agree on rims, but im in college and cant afford new right now. But the exhaust sits straight, i didnt want it at an angle or anything, I like it.

I like the aftermarket one's better. Need a little drop though. Exhaust looks good too.
 
I was in awe at the start of this thread but now with those wheels, 4x4 stance and cheap exhaust makes me think this car went from a 10 to a 3 in .00002 seconds flat. RIP lovely grey dsm....:toobad:




But hey, if you say its only temporary then I'll believe you. Don't forget about your dsm once you get out of college. Please throw money at it once the big bucks start rolling in. PLEASE.
 
Just wondering why do you say the exhaust is cheap, its full 3" with mr o2, downpipe, and muffler. Sounds great and flows awesome. But yes the blackouts, rims and 4x4 stance are temporary, and trust me when I say there are BIG plans for this dsm....when the funds come in, LOL
 
Im not honestly seeing the issues you all are seeing. The exhaust looks like every other guys exhaust on this website. I dont see a problem with it... and the rims are not that bad. They flow with the car. Sure the color doesnt really fit with it but its not a bad style of rim. Maybe go bash on some ricers and leave this beautiful car alone. I really love this car. I want it really bad. Keep up the work.

It's called an opinion. Last I checked, we're allowed one. And no one is "bashing" the car.

There is a fine line between opinion and bashing. I think you know which side of it this comment was on.
 
This car is the cleanest stock talon ive ever seen.. ITS A SEX MACHINE!!

Yes it is, i'm not buying parts twice, thus the 3" exhaust and huge intercooler. Eventually this car will be over 500hp hopefully farther. I am getting the best stuff now, so there isnt upgrade needed when I upgrade turbos.

I disagree with you. That's how I feel about wheels. Bashing would be more like: "Only a ricer-moron like you would put those wheels on that car". If I don't like something, I will express it. I didn't insult HIM at all, just his wheels.
 
Update on my talon.

Its current state. Soon to be sitting on Rota p45r 17x9 with 255/40/17 rubber. Stay tuned.

First off, even though it was 2 years ago that you bought it, let me say great find man! VERY hard to find such low mile, in great shape, bone stock DSM for that price. Since then to now it's a thing of beauty:thumb:
 
Is that colour silver or the darker silver? If the it's the darker colour it is rare colour. Sweet ride and clean great find.
 
wow. nice talon. what i find even more amazing is that you and I both bought our cars around the same time and they are both built very similar.
 
Looks awesome! 2gb Talons are my favorite.

Koni sports w/ ground control coil sleeves. Running 700F/400R spring rates.

You are correct sir. Magenta grey pearl. The most expensive paint they sell. At least it was when i helped my friend paint his front bumper. we got the paint local.

He did do a nice job with the purple bits. I would not have the FP intake unless I needed a 4inch intake. I like the Dejon stuff, and you can get them in whatever color. And the rims looks a lot better! And much better stance. Nice job man.

I love how everyone was being so hard on him about the "wrong" wheels and the look of the car. Now look at it, f**king CLEAN looking 2g Talon. Car looks great man... and as someone with a grey (I'm assuming the same grey) 2g eclipse, I'm loving the color ;)
