Hello fellow DSMers. I am Eddie Garrison and I live down here in Pensacola Florida. I currently race a 1997 Eagle Talon TSi in a road race series called the Grand Bayou Race Series hosted by No Problem Raceway in Baton Rouge Louisiana. I have been working hard over the summer going to as many HPDE events and driving schools as I could to get qualified for my competitive license to race in this series. I accomplished that being issued my provisional rookie competitive license for the 2007-2008 series.
My goals in racing are really simple to me. I am going to race in this series this season and next season and get as much racing seat time as I can. I have been making contacts with drivers and team mangers/owners in the United States Touring Car Championship series and hope to in 2 years from now, to have the experience and the backing to head out west to California for at least a half a season out there to see how the DSM will compete against some of the best drivers in the nation.
Well guys, just wanted to give a little introduction of who I am and what I am doing in my racing season this year and in the future. I Look forward to seeing and hearing from you guys around DSMTuners.
