first log, we had just gotten the boost set at 15psi, I have a bigt28,1gbov,uicp,apexi-1catback.

this is with no tuning at all and when i dynoed it i came up with 213hp, with 20% tranny loss, 225/40/18's 3350lbs(2poeple in car 170 and 185,??) 2nd gear, 98 talon.

What I think is that I'm lean on the bottom and rich in the middle and up top. Also not sure if i need to retard the timing on the bottom to increase spool and advance the timing in the midrange, upper timing is ok?

and yes im a noob to tuning so any help would be welcome.

Don't tune from the O2 voltage on a narrowband o2. Tune by timing because you can't see knock. Your timing curve looks extremly smooth and progressive, topping out right where you want it to be 20* I wouldn't change a thing. You could lean it out until your timing curve goes to hell then back step a little, but I wouldn't fine tune without a wideband 02.

For now, get some fuel mods and turn up that boost. Then you'll be happy :D

Velo how do you like the Ecu+? Is it worth it over the AFC? All the features look great but your the first person I have seen that has it.

I can't compare the ecu+ to any other tunning software because its the only one ive used. The install if you don't get the wiring harness means tapping about 10 wires and spliceing in 3. I made sure I soldered in all connections then checked them with the voltmeter.

The biggest upside to the ecu+is that you can get a very nice resolution of date comming in 25x for everything it logs. I really like how you can use the graphs to easily see the data you need while tuning and the software is very easy to use. All the tools you need to work within the program are their even some convinence things like auto arrange for the windows. You can setup the windows how you like to have them when you tune and everytime you pull it up they are in the same place. I use a laptop so I don't know about the palm software.

The biggest downside is that you can't see the CAR ECU fuel trims. So I'm really not sure how to tune my low and middle fuel trims without the wideband, but I knew when I purchased the ecu+ that I was going to get one anyway. Just gotta save up for it.

The fuel and timming settings are easy to work with, you can see them on the pictures the website has, pretty simple. But you can't choose your rpm points like you can in an afc. I know some other users would like this added but I don't know if that is going to happen.

It also hase the 4 spare inputs so you can log whatever you want thats 5v. Ill be logging my boost $51 sensor, wideband $300, Fuel pressur $??, and egt $??.

now the best feature it has is the dyno analysis. You really can do back to back runs while you tune and see usable results. Me and my buddy went out to a nice flat road and did second gear pulls, about 9 for the first time, while I tunned things(using timing) with the laptop. You then overlay the previous run or whatever run you want and compare where you get more or less, then i look at my timming and injector duty and see what I think needs done. You can save as many fuel and timming settings as you want that way you can just load in a previous run if it was better, you can also pull in just fuel or just timming. The only thing is you really need to know the exact weight of your car and everything in it when you do the run if you want an exact dyno number. you can also select what gear you want to run in, and what tire size you have.

There is also quarter mile run feature but I have yet to use this, we can't really find a good road yet and stopping on the highway isn't the best idea.

I really just need to learn how to tune but its really a fun unit to play with.
