I bought a 96 eagle talon about two years ago with a blown motor. It has sat in my driveway because i did not have time, this winter i decided to get started on it . I bought a used engine stripped it down and sent it away to the machine shop. I had it bored .40 over, purchased new rings, pistons, crankshaft because the old one was out of specs, oil pump, water pump, pretty much everything. Along the way i had come to realize that almost every sensor on the car had been removed by the previous owner...after dumping tons of money there, tonight I got to turn the motor over for the first time.........and it was a success...so to all of you guys that have answered my ?s along the way...I just want to say thanx ...I let it run for about 15 mins everything looks great gonna dump the oil and filter and get started on breakin her in.

Sick. Good work on getting that motor rebuilt now throw on a sick turbo and spool away...after you break it in of course. :thumb:

congrats on your rebuild. I will be firing mine up here with in the next week or so, so i hope it goes as smooth as yours did. :rocks: :hellyeah: :thumb: :dsm::talon:
