I've been meaning to go to a shop and get some left over srap tubing and bend it to the way I want so I can make my tru cai. But I keep forgetting about it.

Alright, let me tell u somethin, never buy a short ram intake or make one. They do more harm then good. Short rams have actually been proved to decrease ur hp. Buy and injen intake, best for the buy. The best exhaust i found was by Thermal Research & Development Cat Back Systems they cost like $540, but so worth it. Also, basically the only header available is pace setter, even though they only make good products for american muscle, us import guys gotta settle for it. Also, u can never go wrong with nitrous, ever. Best $500 u will ever spend. I would say once u get full exhaust this includes a high flow cat, best for the price would be magnaflow, and intake, either go turbo, nitrous or suspension. Lower that bad boy, put some rims and tires on it, and get a sway bar and strut bar. ebay has good cheap strut bars for like $20, amazing deal. I could go on all day about mods, so just e-mail me and I can point u in the right direction.

Uhh Dude. Ok Number 1: This intake setup is not for good. Only temp. Im making my own TRUE COLD AIR INTAKE setup with a 3 foot long 1/8" Alumminum Piping. Getting it from Metals Class at school for 60 bucks.

Number 2: Its not a short ram
Number 3: Dont tell me about mods
Number 4: I've owned 4 DSM's. 2 turbo DSM's. A 1G GSX and a 90 TSI AWD
I KNOW PLENTY.

And I am going turbo. Im having my 16G clipped and ported. And waiting to get a beater car to drive to build my 6-bolt. So dont preach to me about DSM's and moding them and telling me what to do. Ok?

dude, i was jus sayin, no need to get testy. I am the original owner of my dsm, so i have had mine for 12 years. I have had others too. funny story bout one, is that i let my buddy drive it. I had 97 gsx, with nitrous, 175 shot. Shot the tank to early and blew my entire car up. I was jus suggestin parts that i like. calm down. from one dsm to another its all good.

Here's mine , it aint home made but still looks good. And it is made to fit with the filter sensor so its a perfect fit.:thumb:

Damm thats a big filter. I want one like that. And spags. I was in a bad mood already so I had to vent. Nothing personal.

I put that on my car and I noticed a much larger difference then a K&N setup, here's a pic, I got a turbo one for the vacuum line when I install my turbo.
:edit: wow, I didn't realize this thread was so old, oops.
