So I want my engine bay to be unique by adding some custom parts, and my first piece is a custom spark plug cover. Let me know what you think. Made with sheet metal and a dremal, took about 2 hours.

Im going to make a couple more, and ill post them later. Thanks for all the compliments :)

White get's too dirty and fast. I plan on shaving the hyundai off, and painting it either black, or red.

put something else under it so you don't see the wires through the DSM lettering... maybe a black piece or something

You're right about white showing grime too easily, black would look good as well. I also like the idea of shaving off the Hyundai lettering.

I like the hyndai valve cover. That way when you pop the hood people are like...WTF?

What kind of Hyundais do those valve covers come on? If you didn't add that yourself just for laughs, I'm thinking about looking around for one to yank off a junker so I can shave it. Can't bring myself to do it to one of ours.

Good job on the spark plug cover! I actually like being able to see the wires.

The valve cover came on the car when I bought it, but what I hear, it comes from the old elantra's. Also, I like seeing the wires too. I have some others laid out, ill take some pics when I'm done them. One says 4G63, another DSM one, and am working on a 4G63/mitsu logo. Trying to get one with 4G63 and eagle emblem, but thatll take some time haha.
