Okay so I have pulled off my transmission 2 times, first time was to put the correct fly wheel on it after that the clutch was 100 percent fine and I did notice my through out bearing was dry but I figured if its not broke don't fix it, after about 2 days I was at a stoplight and I couldn't get it in gear, so embarrassingly enough I started it in gear and rpm matched my gears to make it home, 2 time I dropped the transmission I replaced the throughout bearing thinking that's what went out but I noticed the old one was still fine... I then looked at the pressure plate no bent fin or anything so I out it back together, same issue again.. won't fully release the clutch, I looked at the space cylinder and it works from what I can see properly, it pushes the clutch fork about an inch, I checked the fluids and everything looked fine, I was thinking maybe I bent the clutch fork, I mean I did get on the motor pretty hard right before my problem initially happened, any ideas????:hmm:

The cluth master cylinder might leaking fluid past the internal piston not giving you full travel of the clutch slave cylinder.

I meant slave cylinder

Ya I haven't checked that yet just haven't gotten around to it, but I'm not leaking fluid??? I hate to just replace parts but I guess ill replace the slave and master cylinder to see what happens, have u ever hears of bending a clutch fork on these transmissions though? When I fist build the car I had the awd flywheel in my fwd car and I did push the clutch in once and it was kinda stiff?

1. What clutch are you using?

2. Did you check the flywheel step height before installing? RRE's Clutch And Flywheel Tech Info

3. Check the position of your fork. (At the bottom of this page) RRE's Clutch And Flywheel Tech Info

4. Are the pressure plate bolts evenly and properly torqued to spec?

5. Did you properly bleed the master and slave cylinders? How to Bleed a Hydraulic Clutch - Team Rip Engineering

6. Did you properly adjust the clutch pedal? Proper Clutch Adjustment - YouTube

7. Did you check your clutch pedal assembly for wear by pushing the pedal to the floor, letting it return to the up position, then, grab the pedal and pull up on it- if you can pull it up at all, the pedal assembly needs to be rebuilt before doing anything else because doing the above mentioned things will never fix your issue until you have a properly functioning clutch pedal assembly.

Sounds kinda what happend to mine, I replaced everything that had to do with the clutch and it still would shift into first, ended up on my way to work shift fork snaped in half LOL

About how far should the slave cylinder push the clutch fork?

My clutch is partially releasing but not enough tout it in gear

I do not have an exact number regarding the throw of the slave rod, however, it is less than .5", I believe. Did you look at my previous post at all? The things I listed are extremely important and you must be sure all of those things are correct before proceeding any further with your diagnosis.

have you pulled the rubber boot back on the slave cylinder to have a peak? Usually, if they go bad, fluid will leak out of the cylinder and fill the boot but you wouldnt know until you looked.
