well just got done upgrading my 90 gsx i replaced the stock junk with tubular manifold, 50 trim, cca front mount, bov, 38mm wastegate, apexi 3" exhaust, and dejon intake. this car is my dd so i didnt spend a hole lot on the turbo setup and yes most of it is ebay stuff, but guess what i dont care if it breaks oh well wasnt a shit ton of money in it. i still need to upgrade the fuel system and the mafs along with replacing the clutch.

my other car is a 86 mercury capri with a built 351w and a borg warner s400, this car is my pride and joy. i wont get into the list of mods cause it will be very long, all i can say is it has about as much done to it as you can do.

let me know what you guys think, just got in to the dsm so any tips would be great, thanks

Nice rides. I would think that the fox would eat the eclipse. I have a turbo fox also, an 85 SVO. Has half the engine of yours though. I also have a big block 61 falcon with spray. That is a pump gas 10 second daily driver I own. Yes I too am a gear head. Tres...

yea the capri would walk all over the eclipse but i have alot more invested in it LOL i have been a 10.41 @131 on 9psi with the capri and have yet to run the eclipse(hoping for 12s).

i was actually looking for an svo but they are pretty hard to find in good condition anymore plus there price! my dad has a 63 falcon i would love to buy it and put a mild small block in it for a nice weekend cruiser but i am pretty much tapped out on the funds.LOL

how the heck did you squeeze a big block in there?

my one friend would make a mess in his pants if he saw your car. he has a weird fetish with capris and turbo coupes LOL
 
LOL i plan on it this spring, i should have the money saved to have it retuned by then, gonna try for some single digits if im lucky.
 
That is going to be a ride in the Capri. With that rear tire it will be fun for awhile. The turbo influence is hard to shake once something with some boost is driven. When you look at the bottom end of a stock 4g63 compared to your windsor, you can see what a jewel of an engine the little 4 is. No filled SVO blocks and sutch as needed for a bullit proof ford. That's what makes the T/E/L 4g63t such a fun car to hop up. .....Tres..
 
I miss the mustang days, I had a 87 Ex-CHP stripper coupe with nice little 306. Ported GT40 head(the real ones) and a ported tubular GT40 intake and a FRPP E-Cam made for some insane torque downlow. It also had a full MM suspension, it handled like a damn go kart...
 
mustangs are what i grew up on, but sometimes you just have to do something different, or at least i do or ill get bored messing with the same thing all the time.

yea thats what i dont understand is how these 4 cyl. can make all this power on stock blocks but a sbf cant, they just split right down the middle LOL

my car actually hooks pretty well with drag radials, i had 17" wheels on it for a while with nitto 275/50s and made a 10.50 pass with them, now dont get me wrong it took me a couple pass's to get them to work but i was supprised! on the street one roll in second to get them warm, then you could smash it in second and they would hook.
