My car is pretty much done for. What now?

Ok about 2 monthsa ago I crashed my car (lost traction in a corner and slammed a curb pretty hard). It had bent the control arm, snapped the lower suspension mount on the spindle, cracked 2 rims, and broked the end of the tie rod. I finally got it all back togather and tried to drive it yesterday, only to relaize the transmisssion wanted to make a ton of noise and become a RWD car. I really need a car that I can depend on cause im going to college now and I have sank alot of money into this car and I just keep having problems. If I were to get something else though I need to get the most I can out of this car. As is, I dont think I could get that much for it, but I was wondering about parting it out. Parts that I have would be...

Good shape interior.
Most of the body panels are good.

So do any of you have experience parting these out? How long did it take you? Any idea what I could expect to get out of it? Please let me know what you think.

Sounds like your center diff shat the bed. I would fix it with a welded center diff.
