Alright here is my problem. My car can't even make it out my driveway (big hill) without reving the heck out of it. And it feels like I am towing a mack truck. Compression is fine,no shaft play, wideband shows fine, no boost leaks. The car was running fine and I got my rollcage welded in and since then I have had no TORQUE. I checked the spark output against each other and coil one was not as strong as the other. So I switched coils and even the module with extra ones laying around. Still doing it. If I drive it for more then about 5 mins My entire AGP kit GLOWS RED with normaly driving. There is not cat on the car to clog. And fuel filter has even been removed and problem still persist. It idles ok but as soon as I give it gas it hesitates and then revs, but not as fast as it should...dsmlink is showing tps to be working fine and maft to be working fine...no fluctuations(sp). And there is no map sensor due to 6 bolt swap(last year). I have the "magic box box" (I will call it) for the CAS. If I unhook the CAS pigtail (ecu side 1 wire) and there is no change at all to idle. I have reloaded the ecu after welding and nothing has changed. Any thought here would be greatly appreciated.

?? very odd.. was ANYTHING done under the hood while doing the cage, it almost sounds like it is way out if time..

was the cage welded to the car or bolted in.. if it was welded was the battery un-hooked first?

u sure no wires were pinched during the process?

Alright, I have now gone crazy with changing everything, it is not
-coils
-ignition module
-my cam sensor box
-tps
-gm maf (switched back to stock)
-fuel pump is kicking on and pushing 43psi with motor off
-plugs ,wires
-no boost or fuel leaks
Everything was done in the car (6 point roll bar)
The plugs are looking pretty fouled out and they smell like PURE gas, but the wideband is showing to be fine!!!!!!! And the oil is reaking of gas.
The timing (belt) is dead on.
Once the car gets about over 3.5k it seems to kind of clear up. But this is where the wideband is going from crusing 13.5-14-5 down to almost 10.1 a/f
Also I have remeembered that this problem I dont belive is from welding in the cage because that night it didn't show any of these signs.....It was the next day.

I'm stumped I'm just gona buy a new flux capacitor

read your sensor voltages with your off on the link or on a logger if they are erratic try changing ecus

? sounds maybe like the injectors are not firing correct... did it have a gas in oil problem before??

may want to check the injector caps in the ECU and see what they look like..

or just replace the plugs& oil and see where that gets you..

mine one day for NO REASON would NOT start I tried for 30 minutes or more.. it would fire every once in awhile but thats it.. I replaced the plugs and it fired right up no problem at all!! sometimes these cars just retaliate on you!! OMG

Alright. First off 2g's don't have injector caps. I have already changed my plugs. And yes I have had gas smell in my oil before, 850cc injectors will make it run a tid bit rich sometimes causing this but not this bad on oil with under 1k miles on it. I am going to try to socket another eprom ecu I have laying around and switch the chip over tommorow.

hmm well I had no power due to a freak cracked piston ring landings ... still not sure how that happened maybe the clearances are goofy..... just a shot in the dark though

Was your compression still showing fine? My compression is 125 ALL 4 (7.5:1cr) And it idles to nice to seem to be something with the bottom end bad. This is SO annoying.

I switched in the stock injectors so I could also run the stock ecu...no difference.

I did notice when I spun the motor over by hand (with ignition key on) the fuel pump keeps cycling like as if you just hooked it up. So I took off the 1g cas and spin it by hand and it is acting like its connecting and disconnecting. Should it be doing this. Anybody that has a 1g CAS equiped car.....I would greatly appreciate it if you could let me know when you have the ignition key on and spin the motor by hand if it keeps kicking the pump on (prime) .

Well I just wasted so much F-in time cuz I let my buddy check ONE thing. I let him pull off my crank pulley and look at my timing mark down on my crank and he said it was on.. He is a moron. Got her running stright now. It just jumped one tooth.
