Alright. There has been many problems with my little dsm. when i first got iv had it for about 2-3 months and I had to replace the timing belt, alternator, brake pads and rotors, valve cover gasket and a couple other things. and altogether that was 1200. and the price i bought it for was 6400 with 54K on it (retarded). then a month from that my brake lines went, and had to replace those. that was nice of the dealer. no brakes. sweet. then my catalytic converter was shot, so i had to replace that as well. and i found out I had rust holes underneath my car, which wouldnt pass inspection. idk who that wud happen, when the car was " garage kept" then i just payed 750 to replace my valve cover gasket, new brake pads which is my fault, I was leaking oil, and i forget what else. and now when i just got my car back. I started to leak fuel now. and i had to buy a new fuel filter. I know there can be problems with DSM's, but i think im just having bad luck with this car. im almost matchign what I payed for the car with repairs. you think I shud maybe just sell it? just anyone tell me what you think haha its rediculous

You may just have a streak of bad luck. However, some cars are problem free for years and others are problem prone from the start. It's always a gamble when you purchase used cars but, not so much when you have a full warranty on it. You do have a lot of money in this car now. It sucks but, you did what you had to. All the problems could be over now or maybe it's just the beginning. It's up to you wether to keep it or not. If you don't want it, sell it.

WOW.. 6k+ for a esi ? You could have gotten a turbo DSM for the same price with probably the same amount of headaches or less and still have had money left over. Anywho, you have already spent so much on the car so why bother selling it, just keep it unless you don't like it.

no i spent 750 to get my oil leak fixed and replace a valve cover gasket and a couple other things. and idk i like the car and everything. i pretty much ran into mostly every problem. i just don't wanna run into motor problems or transmission ones. but idk. ill probably end up keeping it and trying to put some aftermarket parts in it when i get more money and fix all the problems.
