They dont crack easy, trust me LOL. Ive scrapped/ smashed/ rubbed it on the ground literally hundreds of times for the past year and a half, and it just now cracked. There were plenty of times where I would hit something and be like "oh man thats not good, its probably broke" but it stayed tough for a while. These things are warriors LOL. Now my car looks naked without it.

Anyways, back on topic of this sweet 2g.

Also thanks for the compliments guys. I'm not done exterior wise yet though. I'm planning on getting my OEM style 2G carbon fiber hood with some Aerocatch's, and an RMDSM lip. Hopefully soon I'll get enough for both.

I am actually looking at a few wheels that have the same look as yours... ya know the middle is tucked in and then it spreads out... like yours. Found a set that I love for 489 bucks shipped, 17x8.5 semi gloss black with red lip...mmmmmm I want them soooooooo bad.

The "tucked" look is called offset and the lower it is the more hardcore the "tuck" is.

It should be fun. I'm hoping to have these seats in and a few other minor adjustments before the meet comes about. I also guarantee you I will be the only one that will spend like 3-4 hours the night before compounding and polishing the car. Also don't be suprised if I show up with some spray wax and more tire shine:). I swear I'm a one of a kind DSMer because everybody always calls me a retard for trying to make it dirtless all the time LOL.:coy:
 
So my headliner and door inserts are currently drying because I just recovered them in suede. Pics coming soon...
 
Those seats are nice, but its going to get real old if thats going to be your DD. I had a 66 Ghia with Corbeau's and will never have a daily with non-adjustable seats again.

So recently not too much has happened. I finally went out and got prothane mounts all around and they make a huge difference, because two of them were actually rotted through completely. I obviously got the seats in finally. I have the headliner and door inserts done in suede. The headliner is tan suede, and the door inserts and done in black suede. I have new drilled rotors coming and I'm finally getting my door handle fixed on the passenger side. The damn door handle has been broken since December LOL.

That is hands down the ugliest car I have ever seen! Terrible photography too.

hes going around the different threads and talking trash just trying to get a rise out of people, he got me earlier today but he's not worth it.

i love that 2g and to anyone that matters on tuners im sure they'd have nothing but great things to say about it as well. i hope you were able to atleast submit one or two of your shots to ludachris for the 2010 calendar.

I think he knows better not to pay any attention to a 1g owner who wrecked his car while smoking a joint.:applause::notgood: Only people who would have anything bad to say are the jealous people because obviously "if you have nothing nice to say, Then don't say anything at all" :p

Hmm, wrecked it huh? If memory serves me correctly my car is sitting outside my window right now without damage. The headlight housing was bent and I bent it back...took about 5 minutes now it looks like new...that's a wreck? hmm weird... and only people who smoke while driving hit deers that jump into the side of their car? Okay buddy :applause::thumb: I don't know where you live, and don't care, but where I live there are woods and in those woods are deer. And at night those deer happen to make their way into the street. You know what happens then? They get hit because they are in the road... it's just what happens, especially where I live.

TO THE OP: I retract my previous post saying "that is hands down the ugliest car I've ever seen." This is not a true statement, I've seen uglier, and I apologize for downing your project, as it looks like you've put a lot of hard work and time into it, and I respect that! 2g DSMs are just not my thing personally but to each their own and that is no excuse to talk shit, I know. It just seems I get flamed/shit talked and nothing happens, yet when I react and retaliate...I get a PM box full of warnings...so yes I only said your car was ugly because of the negative opinion you provided in my thread saying "those are hands down the ugliest wheels I have ever seen."

Good work on the ride man, honestly! And my bad for dropping to a lower level to "retaliate."
 
Everyone has an ugly car, everyone has a POS, and everyone's car sucks.....in someone's eyes. Usually not their own, otherwise they wouldn't buy it.

Me? I hate the WRX with a passion, and I used to have one. But my buddy loves it so much he drools over his car every time he sees it. To each his own as we all say.

Personally, I am not a real fan of the wheels either, but the rest of the car is very clean, and for being maroon, looks pretty dang good. (I had a maroon Saturn that I loathe so very much, so the color leaves a bad taste in my mouth).

Have the same problem, Except with homeless people who live in the woods/coal banks.
