what would win in this case i think i have about 95hp at the fly(with cold air and exhaust) and the mx6 puts out 93hp at the wheels there is two reasons why i think i can win for one i weigh 160 my car weighs 2531lbs w\o me in it the kid with the mx6 weighs 350lbs giver or take his car weighs 2750 or so i think with the horsepower that his car is putting out. the weight of him and his car should underpower the car more than my weight to power ratio now can someone tell me if this is pretty accurate. now i also have a nother reason for winning this close race is im taking out my back seat along with the tire jack etc. the person who owned this car did a job on the hood he cut out all the supports so thats a good 6lbs and i have no ac or sound detening i think with the less horse power at the wheels (80) i should beat him if anyone has any quick bolt on or something i should do to make it faster let me know this is a very big deal to me i put some money down (a good amount) and i dont feel like giving him the graditude of winning i need a quick add on like advance the timing or somethin thanks alot for any help.

Well from the weights you gave us it seems that you would have a slight advantage. But several factors come into play. Is your car standard or auto, whats his? Does he have any aftermarket products on his car? How much experience do you have in launching? Also make sure you have a minimal amount of gas in your tank. More info would help.
