You need to call the Mitsubishi dealership and ask them for the code.

After you get the code, write it on top of the radio in sharpie or marker.

Yeah, it's for security purposes.. But I doubt someone will steal the stock unit

Just called my local dealership and gave them the number and they got me the code in 30 seconds for free. They have a website they pull up and you just give them the serial # and walla!

Boooo! I got the VIN # and the Serial # to stereo. But I didnt get the model # to the stereo. But I got a awesome dude at the dealership to help me. So it will be free which is awesome awesome for me!!
