420A MSD DIS-2

Hey, i recently installed an MSD DIS-2 with msd coil wires and tach adaptor on my 420a eclipse buy the car redlines at 5500rpm with the redline set at 7000 so i tried to raise the redline to 8000 and now the car redlines at 6000 and i cant figure ot the problem so if anyone can help me out, i would appreciate it. Thanks.

Did you check your wiring. maybe your tach wire is in the wrong spot.

hey, im pretty sure the tach wire is correct and when i bought the MSD DIS-2 it gave me the part number for the tach adaptor so im assuming that it is the right one. Another thing that i noticed is that somethimes it work fine. this morning when i left for school it car was working fine and i was taking it up a lil past 7000 but later on that day i got in the car and it was having the same problem. Thanks!
