Alright so here is the issue, for the time I've had this car I've always used a switch to turn on and off the fuel pump. Now this isn't a huge problem or anything, I just want the fuel pump to turn on and off by itself (haha). I've done a couple hours of searching and I cannot seem to find a MPI relay that is exactly the same as this one. The numbers on the box are worn off but I've done a search on lancerregister.com and I'm fairly certain that E8T08471 is the correct number. I've done searches using E8T08471 and I don't come up with any useful information, even on lancerregister there is only one post regarding it at all.

So the major issue here is trying to figure out which wire will give power to the fuel pump off of this relay. here are a few pictures of it and the wiring harness.

Relay ( i wrote the numbers in permanent marker so I wouldn't forget it)

And the wire colors if you are looking straight at the harness male side like in the above picture.
1. Black Yellow 2. Red 3. Red 4. Black Blue
5. Black yellow 6. Black White 7. Black Blue 8. White Red

Any help on this issue would be helpful! thanks:thumb:

I'm not sure what you are asking me. I know a part of this relay controls the fuel pump, my main point in posting is to find out which wire is the fuel pump power wire. I've searched up and down and haven't found a clear answer.

I have access to one through a friend. My main concern here is which pins are for the fuel pump and which are the mpi relay pins. I want to think the red wires are power wires for each separate relay but I'm not 100% sure. I saw in a post that the white/red wire is the fuel pump power wire but again I'm not sure. I would imagine it would turn on when the car is firing but I haven't checked it yet.

Ok? I'm under the impression that you did not read my post as I'm not asking about which MPI relay would work, I'm asking about the wiring diagram. I understand that it is a relay, but my question which I stated in the very first post was which side on this mpi relay is the fuel pump relay. I'm assuming that the "gold box" holds two separate relays in it, one which controls the fuel pump. This is my only concern is to figure out which side runs the fuel pump, and which wires I need to run power off of.

Also, the part number on this relay is unlike any of the ones from the 1g/2g eclipses that I have searched for. I've looked at wiring diagrams as well and they are slightly different. This 4G63 is from an Evolution 1 along with all the wiring, ecu and sensors.
