MPI Relay Differences

So my MPI relay will click repeatedly, so I figured its bad. What are the differences between the 95 and 1g MPI relays?

I know the 96-98 are two relays, but are the 1g and 95 the same?

1G is a 9-wire unit with a 10-pin connector. The '95 is an 8-pin, 8-wire unit.
