So I looked up other MPI relays clicking and mine is similar but not exactly the same as everyone else's. I just put in a new chassis harness, and had taken the engine harness out and put it back in. My car was down for a few months. I have had a CEL so it should be on, but it's not, until my MPI relay clicks, usually a few minutes after driving. It'll stutter a little bit, and then keep going and then a couple minutes later it'll click a 4-5 times and do it again. Not sure where to start looking, but the CEL makes me think it could be a bad ECU? Almost like it wants to reset every time I turn the car off and it clears all the codes.
Another separate problem is boost. I just installed a 14b and when I first installed it, it pulled hard, and I believe it was actually hitting fuel cut in second gear, (might be related to the MPI issue, possibly?). I still have the stock boost solenoid installed so it should be at stock level unless I hooked it up wrong? I don't know how I would've but its hooked up to the j-pipe and wastegate actuator. BUT, when it pulled it didn't really hit until 5k. Now it doesn't really feel like it pulls at all. Just want ideas to look at, it's not something I want to diagnose until I get the relay fixed.
