I don't know about anyone else having as much trouble with motor mounts as I have so I think it might just be me, but if anyone could aid me in finding a good aftermarket will almost never break motor mount of great virtue I'd be ever so greatful. I've went thru many of these and thought I had figured it out. I put a bump stop on the trans that kept the engine torque to less than an inch at full throttle, but now I think the torque has broken the driver side one under the battery. Today is a day off for me so after I change the brake pads I'm gonna go inspect. From as far as I can see now, which isn't much, it looks like the bolt just fell out of the support. But I'm tired of stock motor mounts they just break at some point or another. Any thoughts on better ones or should I just weld the engine to the frame :p ??

Pick up ultra-fast drying window weld from 3M. It's urethane in a tube. You can find numerous write-ups on how to do it through searching. I've had filled mounts everywhere save the front (which is solid) on my car for almost two years with no ill-effects.

I've got three kinds in mine; Front roll stop-solid. Back roll stop-window weld style (but I used PL-400, a carpenter's friend :D ). Tranny and top pulley side are both Energy Suspension Poly's. About 2 (?) years (except for the tranny side) never a problem or break. Multiple launches @ 4500-5000 rpm. The only thing you will have to watch for is that as you strengthen the motor mounts, you increase vibration. How much you like/can take, is up to you.

well, good news and bad. all of the motor mounts are fine and dandy, however, the tranny motor mount was missing a bolt...yup the bolt just fell out, no break, no pulling on the others, bracket is perfect mount is perfect, the bolt just fell out of the trans and so explains the only time you can tell is when you first roll out of a stop. thanks for all the window weld tips. when I'm finding a bolt i think I'll go ahead and get some of that and seal up all of them.
