I'm putting in a set of the polyurethane inserts while the trans is off but for the side ones you have to press out all the stock stuff completely somehow. Whats the easiest way to go about this? the front and rear are really simple.

Use a hacksaw to cut the metal ring, then just use a hammer and flathead screwdriver, wedging it into the area you cut. It will come out eventually, a bench vise will help you alot.

i just did mine. make sure you cut out as much of the rubber mount as you can. (helps alot when your prying), i used a sawzall to cut out the rubber mounts. after that i cut through the metal ring and you have to be very careful not to cut through the aluminum.

a crappy flathead, big hammer and a little heat.

yea you got it. I used the sawzal to cut the rubbe off and through the metal ring in 2 places. Then a screwdriver and hammer to hammer it out. Car sure does vibrate a lot more now ... but I like the gainst from this mod. :)
